Camille Walala is an incredible French designer whose love affair with geometry and bold splashes of colour really caught our eyes. Monochrome murals & pretty colour-soaked patterns are her forte – they call to mind something that’s simultaneously tribal and very modern.
This is no coincidence – the designer and artist grew up with two very different surroundings as inspiration. Her father’s home in Paris was decorated with Memphis-style, and her mother’s in Provence, crowded with African patterns and Mediterranean palette. It’s easy to see this wonderful collision of influences in her work.

Camille Walala is not only incredibly talented but she’s also very hard working and just plain business savvy. This knack for knowledge helped her transition from small scale textile design into large scale interiors and installations. Camille’s very first large scale job was creating the entire interior for super-cool London nightclub XOYO.
